Biography:
Sandra Dewi with full name Monica Nicholle Sandra Dewi Gunawan Basri was a star model and also stars acting Indonesia.

Yati Octavia



Yati Octavia one of the most famous actresses in Indonesia. She mainly plays in dramas and romantic films. She was born in Jakarta,Indonesia October 20, 1954.
She married actor Pangky Suwito and has four sons. One from previous marriage to Syamsudin. He has since died.
She started her film career very young. One of Yati's earliet roles was Brandal - brandal Metropilitan , then in 1977, she played in the movieAkibat Pergaulan Bebas and Ali Topan Anak Jalanan which boosted her acting career. Yati Octavia became one of the most well-paid actress earning Rp5 million which was very big at that time.

Sophan Sophiaan



Sophan Sophiaan (April 26, 1944 - May 17, 2008) was an Indonesian film actor and politician. He was a member of the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP).
Sophiaan was born in the city of Makassar, South Sulawesi, on April 26, 1944.
His last appearance was in the 2008 film, Love, opposite his real life wife, Indonesian actress, Widyawati.
Sophiaan was killed in a motorcycle accident in Sragen, Central Java, on May 17, 2008 at the age of 64. He was participating in a motorcycle parade called "The Route of the National Awakening" to commemorate the 100th anniversary of National Awakening Day when the accident occurred.


The parade, which began in Jakarta on April 12, 2008, was to make stops across Java in the cities of Rengas Dengklok, Cirebon, Pekalongan, Semarang, Rembang, Tuban and Surabaya, before ending in Monash, Jakarta, on May 20, 2008. Sophiaan's accident occurred after he joined in the parade. He was riding his motorcycle when he struck a large hole in Sragen, near the town's border with Ngawi, East Java, at approximately 9:30 A.M. He suffered internal injuries and a broken leg in the accident. Sophiaan died at Sragen Hospital at around 10 A.M. on May 17, 2008.
Former President of Indonesia and chair of the (PDIP), Megawati Sukarnoputri, issued a statement expressing condolences after the accident. Sopiaan and Megawati had become colleagues when she founded her PDIP political party

The bizarre story started two years ago, when model Manohara Odelia Pinot , a then 15-year-old fashion model from a wealthy family met Prince Tengku Fakhry at a function held by the Malaysian Prime Minister.
After a brief courtship later the Prince married 16-year-old Manohara ODelia Pinot in Malaysia on 26 August 2008. Most regard the marriage as illegal, and the Prince andManohara Odelia Pinot fled to Malaysia, where the model had been since.

In the latest chapter of the bizarre story, 17-year-old fashion model Manohara Odelia Pinot , with French and Indonesian heritage, fled the cluthches of Prince Tengku Fakhry from an amazing rescue from her hotel room organized by her family and police.
A tip off from Malaysia told the mother and sister of teen model Manohara Odelia Pinotstated that Manohara would be visiting Singapore for a brief period.
Mother of Manohara Pinot , Daisy Fajarina , and sister Asih raced to Changi airport to attempt to bring back Manohara Odelia Pinot from the clutches of the Malaysian prince.
On the way to the hotel. where Manohara Odelia Pinot was staying. Mother and daughter started discussing about Pinot's plight.
The taxi driver overheard their strange conversation.
Said Asih : “The taxi driver said he wasn't trying to listen to our conversation but from what he had heard, he advised us to call the police.”
She and her mother were initially hesitant about getting the police involved.
“We were worried that the police might not help us. So we asked the taxi driver how the police here worked,” said Asih .
“He told us that the police would definitely protect us regardless of who we were, whether we were foreigners or locals, whether we were rich orpoor .”
The mother and daughter finally decided to called the local police.
